"I had the opportunity to work with Ron on a combined cycle power plant just north of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Ronald was the lead DCS/Controls Commissioning Engineer and I was lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer on the project, so we had a lot of interface while verifying the electrical controls on the project. “CTD performed the commissioning on our 2x1 combined cycle conversion. This entailed graphic design and configuration, verifying the I/O loops and hardware, development and implementation of control strategies, steam turbine control integration into the Emerson DCS via Modbus links and tuning of the process controls for running in the combined cycle mode. "Recently our company hired Ronald Wensley of Controller Tuning & Design as a control specialist to implement the parallel operation of two valves for a Fuel Gas compression application.

As an Electrical & Control start up engineer I have had a chance to worked with a few specialists who have their training in their product line only such as Siemens, Allen-Bradle, GE, and others.

I am confident to say that I found Mr. Wensley a complete control specialist who has in depth knowledge about process in terms of mathematical models.
